Account management and launch marketing

Launching a New Med Spa's Local Presence

Local visibility from 16% to 98%

The Scope

As account manager at a healthcare marketing agency, I led the launch marketing for a newly opened med spa in Florida with three aesthetic devices. Deliverables included directory listings and Google Business Profile optimization, a launch press release, ad artwork with captions, video scripts, and newsletter copy for all three devices. I also gave ongoing marketing guidance throughout the engagement.

The Challenge

This was a fast-moving launch with an experienced owner, a steady flow of new ideas, and device manufacturer guidance that changed along the way. The job was to keep every request organized and every deliverable on scope, so the launch stayed on track.

How I Kept It on Track

  • Every communication stated what was promised and confirmed when it was delivered. No open loops, no assumptions.
  • When new ideas came up, I captured them and connected them back to the agreed scope.
  • When manufacturer guidance changed, I corrected the campaigns quickly. That included splitting one campaign into three treatment-specific campaigns to meet the brand's requirements.
  • At close-out, I handed off organized, up-to-date assets and clear next steps so the owner could run campaigns on his own.
“Her communication, guidance, and dedication are truly outstanding. The artwork she designed was stunning, and the ads she created were spot-on.”

Results

  • Local visibility score went from a 16% baseline to 98%.
  • 39 of 41 directory listings went live and synced, with 100% voice search readiness.
  • The launch press release was distributed through major newswires and picked up by Florida outlets including Tampa AP News and the Tampa Free Press.
  • Four ad designs, captions, video scripts, and newsletter copy were delivered ready to deploy.
  • The owner left a five-star review naming me specifically.

What I Learned

Fast-moving launches don't need more flexibility. They need clear structure. Closing the loop on every promise builds the kind of trust that ends with a client putting his praise in writing.
